Tech Lab

Tech Lab is a regional technology program led by an advisor and a small team of students-- student technology council. The team begins by inventorying technology, classes, clubs, projects, and resources already available at their school and nearby districts. They then explore opportunities through state university systems, technical-college partners, and local businesses.

Students compare these four perspectives, identify the strongest ideas, and bring recommendations back to the individual schools in the region. The goal is to help school districts expand hands-on experiences with real technology and real projects for all students by improving existing programs, creating new opportunities, strengthening business and college partnerships, and exploring shared equipment, rotating technology kits, and lease-share approaches for specialized technology.
